Doing Da Ds @ Uwharrie

Come out for the camaraderie, campfire stories, and to tackle Uwharrie Venture Unknown style!!!

Da plan.... We plan to camp 2 nights Friday Apr 8th and Saturday Apr 9th at the Riverbend Foundation (behind the Eldorado Outpost) .  We will set out to accomplish all the trails in Uwharrie that start with a D! Dicky Bell, Dutch John, and of course the infamous Daniel! We will ride both Sat the 9th and Sun 10th We also will host a recovery workshop on Sat after the drivers meeting. Join us in learning the equipment and skills needed to properly and safely recover a rig.

Da place......

We will be renting training center venue which is located very close to the trail system and across from the Eldorado Outpost. This will be a dispersed type camping area. There aren't any utilities avail. 

275 US Forest Service Rd 1154, Troy, NC 27371. Porta Potty is onsite. WE HAD TO MOVE THE VENUE TO ACROSS THE STREET FROM ORIGINAL AND THERE ARE NO BATHHOUSES AVAIL AT NEW LOCATION.

Da cost..... ($50 per rig) This ticket will include 2 nights of camping, 2  raffle tickets, workshop, 1  event patch and 1 event sticker.

You will still need to purchase a permit from the Eldorado Outpost. $5 per day or $30 per season permit. This is required to ride the trail system at Uwharrie. Read details @ link below

Da time.... Rally at camp Friday at anytime or meet us @ 9am for drivers meeting Sat morning. We will roll out into the trail system around 10ish.

Da Rig..... Any trail with the letter "D" requires minimum 33" tires, sliders / armor recommended, 2.5 lift, recovery gear, winch recommended

Da Raffles.... BFG has graciously already committed to giving away another set of tires! We are actively looking for more sponsors for this event. We raffled off approximately $10,000 at Winter Wonderland. We hope to make this raffle just as fun!!

We once again will donate some of the proceeds to a charity that helps trails stay accessible.
