                                                                                                                        March Fri 22 - Sun 24

Windrock is usually associated with big rocks, black trails, and a lot of intimidation for someone whos never been to this vast 73,000 acre park! Well VU is inviting you out to ease into this amazing park. We will start off with green trails and sightseeing. If the team feels comfortable we will go hit a light blue trail. This is a rolling workshop. We will help with everything from you getting used to the operation and capabilities of your rig. How to properly approach an obstacle, use of recovery gear, why we air down, and other helpful tips we hope you will take with you when you come back to this awesome place! Everyday will be filled with the ol VU principles #explore #educate #encourage. We will ride and experience the beauty WR offers, we will learn all types of things, and we will encourage you to overcome the anxiety of wheeling. 2 nights of base camp style will be filled with warm fire, camaraderie, and laughter.

Proper clothing for the season, footwear (water resistant recommended), food, trail snacks, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, rain gear, and most important the right attitude. We love to help people enjoy this hobby.

Communications

Before the trip

We will be available for any questions you may have. We can be reached by phone, messenger, or email.  Sean will also create an optional FB messenger chat for all that are planning to come appx a week before the event to help with questions.

During the trip

We use GMRS radios during our rides. We highly recommend this type of communication. If you need recommendations on what to buy we will be glad to help. If you aren't able to secure a radio for the ride, we will provide a loaner. We will use VU channel CH17 (462.600)
