Reverse Traverse
July 28 - August 1, 2026
Some adventures end when the trail is over.
This one simply flips it around and experiences it from a new perspective
The Reverse Traverse is Venture Unknown's Patreon-exclusive follow-up to the Georgia Traverse, taking us across the state in the opposite direction and proving that sometimes the same trail can feel like a completely new adventure. Familiar roads reveal new views, hidden gems appear where you least expect them, and every mile offers another opportunity to explore the mountains, forests, and backroads that make North Georgia so special.
Expect scenic mountain roads, creek crossings, remote camps, unforgettable overlooks, and plenty of laughter over the GMRS as we make our way West to East across the Traverse. While the route may be familiar to some, the experience is anything but. Different camps, different perspectives, and a different group of adventurers ensure that no two Traverse journeys are ever the same.
Like all Venture Unknown adventures, this isn't about who has the biggest tires or the most capable rig.
It's about campfire conversations, shared experiences, and discovering that some of life's best memories happen when you simply point the vehicle toward the horizon and see where the trail leads.
The adventure begins where the Traverse ends.... Its The Reverse Traverse!!
