About the Event
Venture Unknown invites you to join us back out at the VU Farm for Movies in the Wild!!!
VU Movies in the Wild is an opportunity for our community to get together for a nice relaxing time to learn, meet fellow VU members, eat good food, and of course camaraderie. No off roading on this one. Even the Camrys can get down to this spot. We start by meeting around noon on Saturday Nov 18th at the VU Farm. Take your time, get set up and then join in for our trail repair tire workshop hosted by Sean aka the debead king! After the workshop we will be giving away items donated to us from our friends over at Morimoto! We have $2000 in Smittybilt items and depending on attendance we have a $2000 voucher for a lucky winner to purchase a set of Black Rhino Wheels!! Once the sunsets the margaritas will start to flow and we will kick off our double feature movie night with the kid friendly and hilarious movie RANGO! Followed by the very funny Hangover Part 1!
Campfire will be blazing, marshmallows roasting, and good times are guaranteed at everyones favorite VU event MOVIES IN THE WILD!!!!

We ask that if you do contribute please keep it moderate and if unable to contribute that is perfectly fine but every little bit helps us in our mission to Restore the Outdoors!
We will have 2 separate raffles
The first one will cost $5 to enter for the several Smitybuilt items we will be giving away including things like synthetic winch ropes and much more.
The second one will be $50 to enter for the $2000 voucher for a set of Black Rhino wheels. Please note if participation does not support this raffle, we will refund all entries. This is only because we are needing to raise money for SUTS aka Sweep up the Southeast. 100% of the proceeds of this event goes to the Venture Unknown Foundation.
We have limited supply of shirts still avail that will be onsite as well as patches, stickers, etc
Some things to note……
We ask everyone to bring a bundle of firewood for the community fire.
Pet friendly but all dogs are preferred to be on a leash
Kid friendly leashes are optional
Alcohol is allowed but drunken behavior is not
Raffles transaction can be through Venmo, Paypal, or cash
We ask everyone to read over the VU Code of Conduct below….
Code of Conduct
The GOLDEN RULE …
Treat others how you want to be treated. Have compassion.
-No drinking and driving to, during a ride, or leaving any VU event. Drinking at camp is allowed as long as you are staying the night.
-Drunken behavior is highly frowned upon. Ok to have fun, but know your limits.
-Be respectful regardless of race, sex, age, sexuality
-be mindful of language around young children
-Practice TREADlightly principles while on trail
-If bringing a pet, they MUST get along with other people and dogs. If someone complains about a dog being aggressive you will be asked to leash your dog.
-Give more than you take.
-Absolutely no threatening behavior or fighting
-Be mindful of camp etiquette and do not come into camp loud after dark
-Practice pack it in, pack it out principles
-Establish trash at camp and use it. No throwing ANY trash in the fire pit or ground
-Bury or pack out all human waste
-If MOST of camp has gone to bed it's time to be VERY quiet. If it's 1am and you and 1 other person are chatting away at the fire but 15 people are asleep…… Go to bed. There is always tomorrow. THIS IS THE ONE THAT GETS THE MOST COMPLAINTS AND WILL START TO BE ENFORCED).
-Last but not least…. bring your patience and adventurous spirit with you and have fun. Group camping can be a ton of fun as long as people follow some basic common courtesies. Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet.
