Event Overview:
It's that time of year again for the infamous 4th Annual Winter Wonderland @ Windrock, also known as #WWW2025! Venture Unknown's biggest event of the year is set to take place at our home park, Windrock, the largest off-road park in the country, boasting 73,000 acres and 300+ miles of trails. This four-day event is packed with camping, raffles, educational workshops, team-based trail rides, a chili cook-off, BBQ, and more. It’s all about fun, teamwork, and camaraderie in an environment that promises adventure, community, and a little chaos!
Event Highlights:
Team-Based Trail Rides: All day Friday & Saturday are dedicated to team rides. This event is all about, community and exploring Windrock!! We have experienced trail captains dedicated to showing you the very best of Windrock! All other times Thurs - Sunday are considered free roam days. This includes the always fun night rides.
Activities at the Pavilion: The central hub for everything off the trails happens at the pavilion, including raffles, workshops, our 4th annual chili cook-off, Flex ramp competition and more. Stay warm by joining us around a big ol community fire, along with numerous off-ground fire pits. Plus free hot coffee and hot chocolate for everyone!!
4th Annual Chili Cook Off: This is everyone's favorite part of the event… Some of the best dang chili chefs come out to share their recipes! Registration Details:
Opens: October 1st, 2024 @ 7 PM Eastern Time (TICKETS GO FAST)
Max Capacity: 200 rigs/drivers (20 teams of 10 rigs each), with unlimited passenger tickets.
Ticket Packages:
**Driver Ticket: $125 (Includes 4 nights camping, (1) event swag pack, and (5) raffle tickets) ONE DRIVER TICKET PER REGISTRATION
**Passenger Ticket (No Rig): $15 (Event swag pack sold separately for $30)
15 and under are free
**Extra Event Swag Pack for your passengers: $30
**Raffle Ticket Packages: 5 for $18 online or 5 for $20 at the event.
**Camping ONLY with rig / NO TEAM ASSIGNMENT: YOU WILL NOT be assigned to a team on Fri or Sat. You WILL NOT run a rig on any team rides. This will be ENFORCED. You may choose to ride on free roam days\ nights of course. This ticket is to allow you to still come participate, ride Co pilot on team rides, camp up to 4 days, event swag, raffle tickets, but will not count towards our max rig count. $125 limited quantities

Rig Requirements:
READ THIS INFO
Minimum Requirements: 31" All terrain tires, 2in lift, factory skids, full size spare tire, You MUST have proper front and rear recovery points. NOTE If you only meet the minimum requirements you risk damage to your rig by not having sliders/armor.
Highly recommended: 33" Mud terrain tires, 2+in lift, rock sliders, armor, winch, and recovery gear.
Oh and you need to bring an adventurous spirit!!
Safety Equipment: First aid kit, fire extinguisher, seat belts,
Communications:
GMRS radio will be used by all trail captains. Channels will be communicated at trail meeting and in team chats
We will attempt to add all guest to your team chat via FB messenger by Jan 4th.
All pertinent info and updates will be communicated via email.
Trail Difficulty:
Minimum requirement for blue trails. No green teams this year due to weather unpredictability. Ensure your rig meets the event requirements.
Camping & Accommodations:
Camping: Up to 4 days primitive camping in a 20-acre field, included in your ticket. Porta-potties available near the pavilion, with warm water showers and flushable toilets at the campground (5-minute walk from pavilion). Prepare for cold weather camping—come equipped with proper gear.
Other Accommodations:
Additional options available (Windrock cabins, AIRBNB, campground campsites with water/power).

Windrock Park Permits:
Required per person per day. Must be purchased separately and presented at check-in. Annual permits recommended for future visits.
Permit Locations:
Windrock Park General Store, Campground Office, or online. NOTE you will still need the hardcopy of your permit printed from the campground office or general store.

Team Structure & Assignment:
Teams of 10 rigs (2 captains, 8 attendees). No exceptions. Team assignment based on registration details. Team chats available via FB Messenger two weeks prior to the event.

Food Drive:
Yes of course! Venture Unknown is hosting a food drive again this year, with the goal of breaking last year's record. Donate food or hygiene items and receive up to 10 raffle tickets (1 ticket per item donated). We have donated over 2 tons of food and hygiene items to the local food bank.
Shirts and Hoodie orders:
Every year we commision an artist to create a theme for WWW. This artwork is always meant to capture the spirit of this crazy adventure. Last year over 150 people were sporting Winter Wonderland art on hoodies and shirts. These items will be of decent quality (screen printed and not cheap fabric) so they may last for years to come. Shirts and hoodies are not included in the ticket order and will need to be purchased separately. This will be for PREORDER ONLY AND WILL NOT BE SHIPPED. Pick up your order at event check in or mail to you in the case you do not make the event.
This years art is not complete. But we can promise you will not be disappointed by ordering your size now. The art of our beloved Frosty the Swoleman will be screen printed on the back and #www2025 on the front pocket area. Colors will be a sort of blue (Theme being its winter and cold) heather blue / sapphire blue. CAPTAINS AND COORDINATORS WILL HAVE A SPECIAL COLOR ASSIGNED AND ARE FREE. (Do not order yet if you are a captain or coordinator)

Before you check in.
- You should have a WR park permit for ALL days you plan to ride on the trail system. (Permit sold separately)
- EVERY PERSON IN YOUR RIG MUST HOLD A WR PERMIT including minors (Permit sold separately)
- Top off fuel before arriving at drivers meeting. Its gonna be a long day!
- Have your permit in hand BEFORE check in at the pavilion
Drivers meeting Fri & Sat begins at 830am at the pavilion. BE ON TIME!!
Ground fires. Not allowed. All fires must be off the ground in the camping event area
No refunds. In the event you need to cancel, you may try to transfer your ticket but no refunds will be given. Event pack and shirt orders will be mailed if you cannot attend.
No alcohol allowed in the trail system. Permitted only in the event area. Strictly enforced.
Pets: Well behaved pets on a leash are allowed.
Speed Limit: 15 MPH in the campground. Strictly enforced. DO NOT BE THAT PERSON
Waivers Required: Both Windrock and Venture Unknown waivers must be signed. Venture Unknown is not liable for any damage or injury.
